Congratz on the Kings offer - did you apply for the 5-year or the 4-year program there? Because the 4-year was just having interviews 29/30 Jan, so that would have been reeeealy fast!

I just got my rejection from Imperial. Shit. Probably had to do with the fact that I said I wanted to be a surgeon. One of the interviewers responded with, "so you're not a thinker. You're not a physician."

overseas student and received the rejection by email. I think they're sending out all notices today.

Thanks for the kind words. Imperial is pricey, so hopefully I get into the canadian schools I am interviewing at.

I don't think they would send rejections ahead of offers. Im not sure though. I'm still shocked. I thought that they interviewed maybe 20 overseas students and anticipated half of them accepting, hence an interview would mean an acceptance. My guess is that they REALLY didn't want me or they interviewed more than 20 students. If they did only interview 20 people and rejected some of those then I think they may run into trouble when trying to fill the 10 overseas seats. I think a lot of people willwant to stay in their home country. Then again, I was totally up for imperial.

Bummer about the rejection, I have been expecting mine all week...but it will be interesting to see how many internationals they end up taking. Just out of interest when did you interview? / Has anyone from the 15th Jan group heard anything?
