any extra stuff you do
1) shouldn't lower the standards of any of the other more important subjects you're taking
2) potentially could make you stand out from the rest of the applicants when deciding who to be interviewed

If you feel you can do the 5 ASs, go for it

I really don't know Imperial's admissions policy, how much does the extra out of school stuff actually count towards your application.

Probably less than at many unis, Imperial tries it seems to stick itself with the Oxbridges of this world. But with medicine literally every little helps, cos its SO hard to differentiate people...

well only to do with contributing to the "imperial luni life"
it would only make a significant difference at either extreme i'd think: either doing NO sport/other activity (bad) or playing at a very high level (v good)

for imperial i'd say BMAT is v important as a deciding factor
