yeh true, a friend of mine with 29 got an interview same day as me (23) with a mixed bag of scores for all the candidates

i reckon they work in rough samples, and select the highest groups BMAT - wise (and have other things consdered too, like grades obviously)

AND, someone we know got under 20 (well under) and was interviewed before.

So basically we add up to the same as hardrada's experience..there's probably something very complicated at work that we can't really reverse engineer...

holy crap, my BMAT really isn't that high but i still received an interview although it is really late. they might do it according to both the bmat, as,personal statement etc as a combined score, but still the lateness of the interview is worrying me

We have NO evidence whatsoever it's to do with the strength of the candidate.

Indeed it may be nothing of the sort. Me and neish had one just recently, some people we know had them before xmas. We're all in, on varying grades. I reckon if you're good enough you're good enough, don't worry about dates and who else is around you...

Well instead of BMAT any of you think that's it's alphabetical??
I got my letter early jan but my interview is not till late march. My last name is later in the alphabet.

And to be honest the BMAT isn't all that is taken into consideration. Lets just say my BMAT wasn't the best of scores and i got an interview.

In theory 2 weeks. In reality, often under a week or so.
