Ooh, big strapping rugby lad eh? On a scholarship note, can anyone tell me anything about the interview performance scholarship, like what kind of essay and stuff?

Hiya,
Has anyone still not heard?!?
It's been ages since I got that aknowledgement letter fro IC, and now I'm getting worried!!!! :?
My friend got rejected just over a week ago, and I wish they would hurry up cos waiting is the worst part! :?
If anyone else has still not heard, please put a post up and cheer me up some what!
Thanks

I've still not heart either! I hope they don't do a UCL and send out mass-rejections once their quota is full, 'cos that'd be v. rude  stringing us along and all that!

Don't worry I still haven't heard from them either. I'm thinking of calling them up AGAIN and that would make it the third time that I have called up. Maybe our personal statements weren't competitive enough? What grades did you get for your AS and wot are you predicted this year?

Hiya,
Yeh I know what you mean! I got a AAB in my science as-levels and I'm predicted AA and A/B in my A-levels. I also did an as-level in german which I got a B in.
To be honest though I think as long as you have the entry requirements it doesn't matter, because my friend got rejected just over a week ago and she got all A*'s at GCSE and all A's at AS-level. And obviously is predicted all A's for A-level. (lucky)
Have you guys got any other offers?
Luv Laura :?

Helloo, Laura, Dookie - are you guys taking straight science/maths subjects at A-level? I'm taking biology and chemistry, but i've not done physics or maths at A or AS level. My predicted grades are pretty much the same as yours, Laura, though i got a B for Chemistry AS :? .. I'm doing Fine Art and German in addition to the two sciences - perhaps this might work against my application, ICSM being a specialist science college and all?! Luckily i have an offer elsewhere, so it won't be too bad if they do reject me in the end. How about you guys, any offers?
Tschüß!

Well I got all A* for my GCSE's, AAAAB for my AS levels and am predicted AAA for my A2 in biology, chemistry and French. Mind you I have minimal work experience so it wouldn't shock me if I got a rejection. Still I shall try to remain positive 8) But I already have an offer for b'ham, so I wouldn't be all that bothered (yeah right!). Just trying to make myself feel better because at the end of the day, I shall become a doctor even if it kills me

don't worry about not having non-science a-levels along with the required ones. I have an A Level in hisotry and they didn't even ask me about it when I had my interview, whilst KCL made a big deal out of it, asking why I think its relevant to my chosen profession etc etc.
