Grad Entry
If there are any questions about the Grad Entry MBBS programme at Imperial that are not answered on the website you can let me know here and I'll ensure that they are added in due course.
There is also an open day on 13th June which requires pre-registration.

I am thinking of applying for GEM at Imperial..i am not applying to any of the 5 yr long courses...do u think it is a good idea to apply for the 4 yr course? especially is it a good idea to go for Imperial? since it is the first time they are starting the graduate entry programme?
2008 entry application:
Hull york: Unsuccessful
Leeds: Unsuccessful
WARWICK: Unsuccessful
SOUTHAMPTON: Unsuccessful
ITS SO SOOO OVER NOW

They seem to be looking for very well qualified applicants (i.e. those with firsts/PhDs) but then of course nobody really knows as nobody's applied! I'd apply to a five year as well, for backup... I did and I was very glad I had three months into my application when I realised just how desperate I was getting!

A 2.1 in a relevant subject with a good UKCAT score will normally get you an interview at IC.

You will not get an interview without a good UKCAT score; however a good UKCAT score will not guarantee an interview.
To predict the next question: It is not yet known what will be a 'good' score will be, or what the cut-off point will be, as UKCAT is such a new test and it will differ slightly from year to year.
It has also not yet been decided how the different areas in the test will be weighted.
