Riddle me this? When did you get your rejection. Was it on UCAS site? UCAS letter? Imperial letter?

To give you a little help, Imperial will re-consider your application, the only thing is that you should have more or less perfect GSCE and predicted A-Level results. e.g. 5A*+ 5A at GCSE and all predicted A. If you got this then just give them a ring and they'll give you the old we over looked your application form and give you an interview. btw what grades have you got at gcse?

Heres what you do. Phone up the head medical admissions tutor, you only want to speak to him (find out from the website or prospectus). Give him your details be VERY nice to him. don't say why did you reject me. start it off with I know that there has been fierce competition for places this year and as such only applicants with top grades wil be interviewed. Tell him about yourself/grades etc. Then say that I achieved these grades due to extenuating circumstances tell him what went wrong ( if you want it bad enough I would over exaggerate your story, give it some drama). Then say to him that please once all interviews are over if they would think of considering giving you an interview. you've just got to be real nice and he'll probably be symathetic. If he does not buyit don't be nice just say can I have a non generic reason to why I was rejected( if you do that he might get a bit rude and say because there are 1000 stronger applications). In essence be nice, be dramatic suck up about Imperial you want to let him know you think it is on a level with Oxbridge. Tell him you know lots of students there, give their names and you never know your luck he might just give you an interview. and from that stage it's anyone's guess. 8) Good luck son

hey,

If you want them to reconsider in the same academic year i dont think they allow that. although i have heard of people writing letters, getting school to ring up etc. after no offer without interview (like hellspawn said, but don't worry overly about impecable grades, but a good reason for why you are now a different/better person than when you first applied).

if u reapply the next year then i think thats ok but write them a letter or something telling them y you are so good.

if you are re-sit, then you need A's in the subjects you re-sat, and you have to have applied to imperial the 1st time u applied

think this is all right
