Automated Withdrawal of offers
Hello people!
I decided that today I would withdraw from all my other applications and confirm imperial as my firm and qm as my insurance. so i went to withdraw my remaining biomedical backup, and that was ok, successfully withdrawn.....
then i go to choices, and Imperial was withdrawn!!!!
so i ring up UCAS, and they say its nothing wrong with their pc's and that I must have made a mistake. I try and explain that I actually have some common sense and that I wouldnt withdraw from my 1st choice.....no luck....
so I ring up Imperials registry, and they say that they *should* be able to reinstate my offer (oh god I hope so!!!!!), but has anyone had a similar experience?
PS, my qm offer remains, and so does my sgeo biomedical informatics (what a joke!), which i wanted to withdraw, but b****y UCAS did me over eh?

Are Imperial sorting this out for you at the mo? Or are UCAS doing something about it? Fingers crossed someone will sort this for you, cos you obviously wouldn't withdraw your first choice offer on purpose!! Can't believe they had so much attitude with you, sheesh...
Would be interesting to see if anyone else has had a similar problem, or whether this is a one-off error from UCAS' lovely computer system. Cos now I'm getting a bit apprehensive when the time comes to confirm my offers...
Is that you in your pic btw? If so, awesome pic

yep-i finally decided to upload a real picture of myself after popular demand this is me after having a bit of a shave.......:P
oh, and in answer to your original question (doh!), i sent a email to imp's registry, and they told me over the phone they should be able to fix it in the morning (i aint gonna sleep till i get the offer back!). hopefully they will, and ill probably go down to south ken at midday to check and give in my CRB stuff (which is why i wanted to withdraw all my choices today-arrrrrggghhhh!!!! )
