Post Interview Experiences

Since I've been receiving so many private messages on relating my interview experiences, I've decided to post whatever I can advise here.
Personally, I was very comfortable and myself at the interview. I answered the questions honestly as what I thought and not the answer I would've thought they would like because that's so unoriginal and regurgitated. I wanted the admissions directors to accept me for who I am as an individual so I think individuality is really important. Most of the interview stemmed from the personal statement, basically reconfirming what has been said to ensure it really is true.. and not some planned trick that many candidates seem to do nowadays I guess. I think genuinity and honesty is just so important here, cuz it comes out clearly in your body language and expression. They have to ask one ethical question but I can't tell you what that was because I signed a document promising not to and so I keep to that but it's nothing tricky really. I just think you should be who you are yourself! No point pretending because I'm sure they're experienced enough to see right through you. Well, that's about it really! They didn't actually ask anything difficult really.. just extending material from the personal statement. There you go. Hope this helps.
Good luck!

lol... i didn't have to sign a form either.
In regards to the ethical question - i was asked to discuss about obese patients and their effect on the NHS (they gave me a specific example to talk about). These questions usually have no right or wrong answer, but to test your speaking skills and your ability to have a discussion thinking about both sides before coming to a conclusion, and of course, to put you on the spot.
Confirming what was written above, the majority of questions stem from your personal statement, and if you have something particularly interesting, say doing research or being part of some important club etc. they will most likely ask you this.
I saw them each with a copy of my personal statement, and they all highlighted areas of the statement which they thought was unusual/unique. After each interviewer finished asking their questions, they put a grade/mark on the form on which they assess you.
Also, there was no Science questions whatsover, unlike Oxbridge interviews etc.
Hope this helps

I got asked one ethical question but it was more a token thing rather than anything serious. My interviewers were really friendly and funny, the time just flew by. It was mostly about my personal statement and leadership skills, stress etc. The interview was only 10 minutes long but really enjoyable.

The interviews sound really nice, actually.

I just wish they'd let *me* have an one...
