Unhappy Rejections From Imperial Already?!

it seems that imperial are starting with the rejections first this year! i kno of 7 people that have applied to imperial and 5 have been rejected this week! the remaining 2 have not heard from imperial yet! from looking at other posts, 2 other people have been rejected as well

last year, imperial started off with the interviews first, and left the rejections till last, (around march/april)...no one that i know of was rejected at an early stage in the process. But it seems that imperial are taking the opposite appraoch to it this year!

i dont know if this is true or not, and what i've stated above may b biased, but this is what i've gathered! plz correct me if im wrong!!

but for now, it seems that its true...'no news from imperial is good news!'

post ur views/comments!

it was the same last year. most people got rejected before and then after christmas. most of the ppl who hadnt heard by then got an interview.

im actually quite surprised they havnt rejected me yet coz im a resitter. mayb they jus havnt got round to my application.
but yes, "no news is good news".

Shatteredmedic, why would they reject you just because you are a resitter? (just wondering)

coz they are prejudiced against ppl like me!
seriously tho, they only take 3 or 4 resitters every year max.
i think their view on resitters is fair tbh. why choose ppl who didnt get the grades first time, when you have loads of applicants who will do it first time round?

You a resitter or taking a gap year or somein?

No, I'm not...I was just wondering...It sounds a bit strange, I mean, everyone can make mistakes during the tests (for example being very ill or otherwise)...

So has anyone in the UK got an interview letter yet? Is it really true that Imperial interview by decending BMAT order or is that just a big lie?
