I also got rejected on tuesday... I had a BMAT score of 16 so I can understand why I got rejected...I had a very good reference and a good PS, but it didn't help...

Did you get their required GCSE grades and predictions?
Have you phone them and ask them what was wrong?

Is there any point in calling them? I mean, what can we change? I got Bmat of 17. Not great.

Yea i got rejected yesterday too, got a BMAT of 17.9 so i wasnt suprised. But there have been quite a few people with scores of around 16 who have got interviews so im a bit annoyed. It was also my first choice and the only uni i really wanted to go to.

So sorry to hear that...I'm anxiously still waiting too...

Imperial told me (when I phoned them about a month ago) that as a guideline, they needed candidates to be getting 50% or more in each section of the BMAT, i.e. at least 4.5 in sections 1 & 2 and 7.5 in section 3. If that's the case, then I'm not gonna get an interview...but having said that, there are people who've had above 4.5 on both sections 1 & 2, but only 6 for the essay, so there may be hope...In any case, they told me that they didn't look at the total BMAT score, rather they looked at the individual section scores...
