yeah i think it is more or less true....imperial baisically start with the applicants that they are most likely to accpect (who 'usually' have the highest BMAT scores)....so they start with people who obviously fit the entry requirements and have high bmat scores....(ie people like u!) and then work they're way down until all their places are filled up......and the remainig are unfortunatley rejected.

this is what i was told by the medical admissions team at imperial, so there you go.

At the mo, they are offereing interviews to international applicants, so i guess after that, its all the UK applicatants....but seriosuly wellingtonboots, from looking at ur BMAT scores, ur probably gonna be one of the few exceptional applaicants to get an early interview date!

oh yea ofcourse....those with higher BMAT who dont succeed, will automatically give the chance for ppl with lower scores to get an offer. Its not certain that only the top bmat scoring applicatns are offered a place....some of these applicants may well be rejected after interview, so applicants down the line have more of a chance. Like i said earlier, they just work they're way down until all their places are filled up...so people with lower scores still do have hope, provided that they have a strong personal statment and good grades.

I guess at this stage, we just have to keep our fingers crossed!

All the best Maria_88!

Thanks for the info Kizzy! Good luck with your application!

Do you know if you can um...change your interview date if happens to be on the same day as a module exam because I'm doing 5 exams at the end of January.
