Basically, an aptitude test designed to differentiate between applicants, as so many of them meet the entry requirements these days. The BMAT is used by Oxbridge, UCL and Imperial medical schools.

Section 1 tests critical thinking skills. Section 2 tests scientific aptitude, though technically not going beyond GCSE Double Science level knowledge. Section 3 is an essay. Please read the website and its FAQ.
