... because Imperial uses the BMAT, an exam done in November. For me it's possible that St. George's and Nottingham have already looked at my application but Imperial and Cambridge will wait until I sit the BMAT, most likely.

Once we sit the BMAT, then the letters will start flooding out!

I was an IB student (36 pts. Maths, Chem, Bio, and English HL. History and German B SL) . I'm going to ICSM in 2007. My interview was the 12th of April. I only found out about it 2 weeks before. It was my last interview and needless to say that was the only uni I got into (applied to oxford, manchester, St. Andrews as well)! Waiting for Unis to get back to you can be really frustrating. Esp. When you think you got in somewhere but didn't and got in where you thought you wouldn't. As hard as it is, try to forget about it. When you get a reply, great, otherwise focus on school. It'll be a lot more rewarding in the end.

my interview was some time in march, dont worry if your interview isnt in january or febuary! they only interview in the afternoon twice a week (at least they did last year) so it take a long time to get through applicants.

yup..one of the incredible annoyances and biases of imperial's interview process.

I think it will work out to be my last interview. My UCL & King's Interviews are both at the end of November, and my Cambridge interview is supposed to be in the first week of December (though it seems like they haven't actually got round to telling me when it will be...).

Did any current applicants have offers already by the time they had their Imperial interview?

okay, first off..comparing imperial with oxbridge for interviews is a bit of a non-starter because

1) imperial gets a lot more applications, so they've got more to deal with
2) oxbridge has colleges to deal with each of the applications, so they can do it at a faster rate
3) oxbridge like to have told all their candidates one way or another by xmas/new year.
