Question imp / ucl - extra curriculars

hey i was just wondering
does ucl or imperial look at extra curriculars more positively? say someones got average grades lol at a/s however got amazing extra curriculars you hear stories of occasions when a univeristy will still call a student for an interview based solely on non-academic reasons....or do u have no chance without 4a's at a/s

i'd say you'd definitely need to meet the academic criteria..they can't just let you in on extra cirricular activities

of course, these activities, a good reference, work experience will all help but you'll still need to meet (and i stress MEET, not go way above the set criteria and get 10 As at A-Level) the academic criteria.

in regards to AS - you dont even need to declare these. i didn't and had no problems.

I reckon imperial would prefer the boy who got the chem award.
im my opinion, ucl would favour the cricket player.

ucl's name sounds silly. you can't be a university AND a college. therefore, apply to imperial

... ironically though, the colleges of London are autonomous universities!
