Is it worth buying the fresher's passport?

i mean it looks really good..discounted and guaranteed entry but on the other hand..do you get tied down on going to all the medics events

like do you miss out on normal imperial freshers events, hall events etc..?

so confused!

hmm yea i was confused about that.. do u have to pay £45 for the passport on top of the entrance fee they've written in descriptions!? coz that's a hell alotta money. i reckon u just gotta judge how many of the events u intend to go to, and if it's not that many then it's not worth paying £45 for passport thing. there's gonna be loads of other events going on, whether that be with Imperial or other london uni's so i doubt you'll turn up at every medic event. hmm although it does guarantee u entry.. so it'd be kinda bum if u got rejected from entering without the passport thingy

Hang on, I thought you could just go to some of the events and pay for however many you wanted to?

Or is it that there are only 2 options: £45 for everything or £20 for the ball.

If thats the case, Id rather not commit myself and buy on the door, cos face it, we won't go to all 13 events, and there will be other stuff held by Imperial College Union (not the medschool) and other things.

I think I will buy the book anyway, just for the convenience, but not go to all the events, but will probably go to more medics events than others, because despite all the fuss by non-medics, we are going to be spending 6 years together + there are a lot of us, so its no big deal if I miss out on meeting some people at the normal imperial union events.
