Question Anyone living at home in 1st yr?

The title speaks for itself, but is anyone else unfortunate enough to have been given shitty halls and now needs to resort to staying at home? or just in general, anyone decided to opt for stayin home?

i will be commuting from the northern end of the northern line, it'll take about an hour :s pissed off though cos i really wanted to stay in halls but simply can't afford the one they've given me on top of the travelling costs cos it's in caledonian road.

Yeah I guess its an extra expense you could do without, n the risk is that even if you did want to move out later on- you cant cos uve signed a 38 week contract.

Im staying at home cos il save a fortune and its very easy to get to uni, downside prob is that il have to leave night-time events early like cinderella

LOL, excuse me for finding that really funny.

But that's only for the first 2 weeks, and later on in med-school life I'm sure u guys can crash at a mates place.

Think about it, you will be saving around £5000 a year - you guys are lucky to be living in London

If you live in london, then stayin at home cant be that bad??? could it? you get all the food u want, no bills etc...

On days when im clubbing late il jus get a cab home.... Its true you miss out on the initial bonding but its a 6 year course and most prob ul meet sum1 or pull and have that place to crash out on those late nites Even if you stay in halls u still got to make a travelcard to move between teaching sites
