Can I still get in in the future?

I got my GCSE results today and I was wondering whether or not Imperial would accept these GCSE results:

    4A*s, 2As, 2Bs, 2Cs and 1D

    the D was in PE,
the 2 Cs were in Geography and Short course ICT,
the 2 Bs were in Double Science,
the 2As were in Maths and English Lang.,
the 4A*s were in Arabic, French, English Literature and Religious Studies.

So what do you think? Do I still have the chance?

And yes I know that A-levels are more important but so are GCSEs! (well atleast to me they are!)

    Anyways thanks in advance

According to some statistical sources, people with less than an A grade in chemistry did not get a place - but 95% of all statistics is crap anyway. I think you will have to work very hard for A levels and do lots of work exp. I think some unis will let you off on bad GCSE grades if you get A grade in that subject in A level.

Your chances will improve if you compensate with work exp and solid personal statement. Otherwise, chances are slim unless someone else here says otherwise.

Yes, I agree with the above... its gonna be real difficult to get an interview unless you can proper ace your a/s levels and get solid work experience in at least 2 aspects of healthcare.

    Good Luck!
Work Hard, Play Hard.... n follow the yellow brick road to Imperial

i know this is gonna sound whiney but there are simply too many threads with "can i get in if.."

    a) this is all in the prospectus..which is available online..it's not that hard to look it up

    but more importantly:

    b) if you've got even half decent grades and have the desire to do medicine (which is the only reason you should apply) then you shouldn't think about playing the odds and "can i get in if..."

this isnt directed at you personally but rather everyone who's done a thread with "can i get in if.." - there are many out there.

all the best with your application & future exams
