Imperial Offer + Critical Thinking

Hello to all my fellow Wanabee-medics.lol

Ok, so this is my first post on here so i appologize in advance if ive posted in the wrong place or said anything to offend.

I am looking for some advice. Had an interview with Imperial 5th April, and at exactly 2am on 12th April, lol, i checked on UCAS Track and saw i got an offer of AABC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Critical Thinking, any order. Problemo? well, It turns out the school has decided not to sit anybody into the Critical Thinking A-level for some reason. It was the first year that our school decided to do critical thinking and i was from a selection of about 10 people who got to do it, and we were told if we got 'C' or higher we would do the A-level. On the day we break up for Easter, i got my exam timetable and was like $@#*!lol. No Critical Thinking Entry! I thought i would wait to see the outcome of my interview before i made this into an issue...

I have an Arabic A-level (A) which i took in June 2005, and will ask imperial if they will accept that, although im waiting for the actual letter from Imperial to come through first. My AS grades are 'A's in Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Critical Thinking (and obviously Arabic.lol)

I know i can apply for a late entry (or rather i hope i can) and i judging by the AS level i dont think the exam should be too hard to get a gud grade in. Im wondering as to what Imperials reaction would be if i wrote/rang and explained the situation to them. Would they withdraw the offer? Would they accept Arabic? Would they remove Critical Thinking and make it AAB, or AAA...?

Any advice would realy be appreciated.

Ok, thats me being serious, on a slightly lighter note, it was quiet funny, because at 2am, i was sitting in my bed on the laptop (oi oi not like that.lol) and i nearly had multiple orgasms when i read 'Conditional' next to Imperial, i ran outside and for some reason saw my little brother going to the toilet and decided to like throw him in the air (lets just say its good i didnt do that whilst he was IN the toilet.lol.)I got back to my laptop and had this huge low and my face went

after i saw the 'Condition' lolol...

hahahaha! u say oi oi, not in that way, FOLLOWED by the fact taht u had multiple orgasms. that cracked me up LOADS!
but yeh i dont think they would retract their offer...cos its not like a massive mistake uve made, its something ur school has decided on...just ask them and see i guess...?
and i dont think that the fact that u have an A in another subject will fare badly...surely its just an another gd grade?

Why don't you give Imps a ring and just explain your situation. I'm sure they'll be understanding and cos it's CT they'll probably just give you a 3 grade offer rather than 4. Hope that helps. Nice story btw.....and you seem to be easily pleased......orgasms from an offer.....dude.....jk

Haha nice story mate, I'd just give them a call and they ought to understand. If you did alright in BMAT then that's pretty much Critical Thinking anyways. What did your brother day?

Ok! Ppl asking! my brother is 9! he was half asleep, and just about to go into the toilet, so it was that transitional phase of being about to pull down your Pjs to urinate, and opening the door at the same time. Im just happy i didnt turn him around and ending with him pissing all over me.lol. He kinda reacted with a little sigh, and a kinda wtf! look.loool.

And Squirell! this is Imperial! Thats not getting easily excited!loool..
