    Waiting list

So I have been put on the waiting list (and I am unplaced elsewhere). What are the chances of me getting into Imperial off the waiting list? Like what were the stats last year etc. I dont what to get my hopes up just for them to be dashed again so be honest (but tactful). Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hey,

    Sorry to hear about that.

There is a chance that you will get a position, because people do fail their a-levels. As well as this, some people won't take the offer from imperial. On the other hand, they do give more offers than places. Its all up to your luck in the end. But for now, try not to think about the waiting list, just concentrate on your exams, get all A's, then at least if you have to reapply next year, you are all set.

I am actually feeling not bad. Getting into Imperial would be grat but I'm focussing on A level first and during breaks strategically planning a gap year to maximise chances for 2007 entry into medicine. Well done with all your offers guys. Good Luck!
