When is the interview period?

Hi all. I is overseas applicant from Singapore.

I haven't been invited for an interview at Imperial yet, but I was wondering when the interviews are typically held?

I am hoping for one that is held around 25th January '06, since that is when my UCL interview will be held. If Imp holds its interviews and by some fluke I get invited for one, I hope that I can at least twiddle the date 'till it is as close to the 25th Jan as possible.

As I am due for military service come Jan 6 '06 (being a Singaporean male!), I may not be able to disrupt my basic military training to go to London several times. I need all my interviews to be clustered together so I can take them all in one leave period.

I hope for a favourable reply, because I see that some microbiology and infection graduate course in the wellcome trust gives its interviews on the 26th January '06.

Thanks!

Normally I think Imperial will try to help rearrange dates for overseas applicants so that they are near other interview dates to avoid you travelling too many times to the UK. It might be worth getting in touch either with the Admissions Tutor for Medicine or the International Liaison Office at Imperial (just search the Imperial homepage for details) to find out how to go about doing this. I'm sure if you nicely explain the situation with military service and your concerns about the cost and time involved in travelling to the UK they'll try to help (although don't expect miracles - if they have no interview slots open around a certain time then it might not be possible to rearrange).
