Er let me clarify. Singapore is NOT near China, China is at least a 3 hour or more flight away! (Sorry, seems to be somewhat of a common misconception somehow. =|)

I've actually checked the Imperial website, they said that overseas applicants HAVE to be able to interview AT Imperial in Nov/Dec/Feb/Mar (or something like that), so I doubt they'll let me interview overseas - although being able to interview closer to home would be much easier!

what i meant was that singapore is nearer to china than it is to england, and it'll probably be easier to fly to china for interview than london (like it's easier to book a flight to spain than to china from england).

i'd of thought that they do interviews outside the UK. cambridge does...i'm sure they'd give you londer notice since they know that you're not living in the uk. ^-^

Oops sorry then. But China... seems a bit odd from my perspective to interview for a British university in China! (In fact, totally wrong - If I really had to interview in China for that, I'd be speaking Chinese throughout the trip until I step into the interview room and start to speak English!)

Yup I know Cambridge interviews overseas, but keep in mind that Oxford interviews overseas for everything except Medicine (hmmm).

really?!! that's stupid, if they send people to china anyway they might as well send some doctors...

yeah, i know what you mean. it's like when i go back to china and then come back to england, i end up thinking in chinese, and having problems talking in english for a few days. yup...best to come to england. but i'm sure imperial won't be mean and only give you 2weeks notice. ^-^
