Exclamation Term Dates...(Half Term)(Med Different!)

Hi everyone,

I was just reading through the prospectus and I came across the term dates (p134). I found this,

'Dates of terms for students attending Imperial College School of Medicine differ from those shown.'

HOW DO THEY DIFFER?

Also at uni do we get half terms? You've gotta love those half terms!

Dont think there are half terms at uni unfortunately Which is understandable really because half term is usually around middle of october and by that time Fresher's will just about be ending!!

No reading weeks at Imperial I'm afriad.

Term dates in the first 2 years are pretty much the same as for the rest of Imperial, it's only once you get to clinicals/intercalated BSc that term dates are different.

Academic year in years 1 and 2 are about 33 weeks (long-side of "normal").

Academic years after that are longer. Only by a couple of weeks in years 3 and 4, but year 5 is a 52 week year of which you get ab out 2 weeks off, and year 6 is a 48 week year (including study leave).
