heya! there seems to be a lot of us medics in pembridge, i really want to know what its like, so any current imperialites..have you heard anything about Pembridge?
also, im a bit concerned at how we have all been quoted different prices for the same thing, well 4 of us with singles and no en suite, and 3 different prices? i reckon its banded cos there are 3 different houses...perhaps thats why?
im getting a bit excited nowI'm only ½ an inch tall, but you guys make me feel like a colossus. In fact, I feel like a superbean.

and hols has got £3544
I haven't bought aaaannnyything yet, really need to get a move on! There isn't even an Ikea near me so I'm gonna have to weave my way round ALL the shops, not that i'm complaining as I'm so exicted hehe!

Maybe it's the 3 different houses and the annexe. We shall see when we get there, but I'll be phoning the accommodation office if I haven't got slate flooring (with underfloor heating), a big bed and a hot tub facility

In reality my extra £300 probs gets me an extra 5 square cm of floor - nice.
Have you lot sent back your medics passports yet or are you just being selective when you get there?

im going to get the pass thingymajib cos ill probably end up going to most of the events and it works out sooooo much cheaper. (£17 apparently) and even if you dont go to all of the events you'll still probably save alot of money anyway. and lets face it, as students we have to watch the pennies. although im getting my brother to pay for all my freshers events - i mean, getting others to pay for you is by far the best way to save cash.
we still have THREE WEEKS to buy stuff, ill do it in the last week, there is no point in getting things early.plus, seeing as im moving in on public transport ill probaby bring bits and pieces back whenever i go home. im a bit owrried about what im going to be eating, im not sure that i will be cooking much and i dont know what ill eat.I'm only ½ an inch tall, but you guys make me feel like a colossus. reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaally dont want to, i too lack upper body strength
I'm also realy bummed how we have to move out all our stuff when Easter comes, dont have the heart to move in all my things if i'm gonna have to move them out after a few months anyway...

pembridge is gonna b so cool with so many medics!! i spoke to one of my friends who started medicine at imperial last yr and she said pembridge has a really good atmosphere and her friends there really enjoyed it! and the notting hill area is really cool - obviously! and the 30min walk to lectures wakes u up, improves ur fitness and is a great way to meet ppl apparently! and we dnt need an iron coz there's probs one in the laundry room!
im sooooo excited!!
