Well, I'm off to York on Sunday...from the lack of interest on this forum and responses to my previous posts (n=2) we may be the only ones there! :shock:

Hope this isn't an indication of the motivation or interest to be at HYMS..I've been so impressed by the course info they've sent us recently!!

I will be joining Smudger and other fellow 'cool cats' in York this Sunday.

Feeling more like a scaredy, unprepared cat at the mo. Haven't packed a thing and have got a wedding to go to on Sat. :shock:

Looking forward to meeting my Buddy (god help them !) :wink: - has anyone got the name through of their's yet ? - I haven't.

Smudge - yep I was impressed with info. too, aren't we suckers for a booklet and a few piccies! Just wondering, are you staying in halls now and have you got a parking pass sorted?

i'm in a student house on cranbrook avenue, the shared facilites in them look pretty basic but the bedroom is really nice, especailly now i've made it mine with posters, piccies and pillows haha! should be a good laugh once we all get started!!!!! looking forward 2 it! plus the nightlife looks quite good, so wont miss good old leeds clubs too much either heehee!!

I've put down for halls - not sure about the car situation yet - hoping I can at least take it up there till the "permanent" accommodation on October 6th, for a quick getaway (classic anxiety symptoms, anyone? :wink: )

It looks like it's gonna be hard work but hopefully we will enjoy it!

Lack of interest on this forum has got me a bit worried though...maybe it's just that with there being less students on this course than most 5 year ones, that less people may have heard of this forum?...hope so..... :shock:

BTW - I've not packed yet either - will be a sunday morning job I think :?

I'm also off to Hull - in a student house on Cottingham Road (the same road as the Uni - not far away at all!). I've got the key but aren't moving in until Saturday (tomorrow).

I too am impressed with the course material sent to me. Can't wait!!!

See you in York for the HYMS Social on Sat 18th!
