Anyone got any last minute queries about HYMS... what to bring... stethoscopes... books... etc etc?

I dunno about you guys, but I can't wait for Fresher's week, and to meet you all!!

Dont know if you or anyone can help me with this. But i'm at hull and received an email about sending a passport style photograph online for our student cards like they do at york. But i need my username and password used during the accommodation application. Apparently we should have received an email and letter ages ago with our details but i cangt find any of these. We were told to email student-admin@hull.ac.uk if we had problems. I did on monday and still no reply. Just wondering if there is a number i can ring because i have no idea whos email address this is.

You'll get it in fresher's week i would think - if it's the same as it was when we started.
TBH I went to the library and got a load of books out before I decided what to buy... people tend to like different books.
Some people (like me) swear by Tortora, but others can't stand it (calling it medicine for preschoolers!) - it's a very individual thing

Did you manage to get hold of student admin?

yeh. well i rung a few times with no answer but eventually i got through. The email said we could just wait longer and get it done at registration but i just wanted to do it before. You know one less thing to do and i actually could chose a photo i wanted that wouldnt make me look like a criminal as passport usually do! So anyway they couldnt give me the details so i guess i'll have to look like a criminal for 5 years! Nevermind..... thanks for all your help! see you in a week! xx
