York college system?! & HYMS VS KEELE

Hey ive been reading through the HYMS section & there's lots of debate about Hull (i personally reli liked it wen i went there 4 my interview & wld have no prob going there) but only comments about York is that its quiet.

I was wondering if any HYMS students at York could explain about the college system thing & if we get to choose which one we're in/which is the best? & also a bit more what York is like generally is there enough nightlife ect?

Thanks it will be a reli big help as have offers from HYMS & Keele & im frantically trying to decide which one to choose as 1st & insurance so any advice on that would also be very helpful
    Thanks

Erm...I would go with HYMS for you, for one clear reason. You say you thought York was a bit quiet...oh ho ho, it's like Las Vegas compared with Keele my friend

I may sound biased also, but Keele for me just seems a bit too far out the way of things. The only advantage I can see for it is that at least you know where you're going as opposed to accepting the HYMS offer! I'm really hoping to get into York if I accept my HYMS offer...

No idea about the college system either, I dont think it plays a large role there as opposed to Oxbridge. It's more like Durham's really. But the nightlife is there, I'm not sure to what extent but there will be some clubs surely...and if not, it's got plenty of amazing bars!
