A question of travel

I have been wondering about placements in years 3 to 5. I realise that we will be spending 19 week blocks across the region. I also know that accommodation is provided.

The question is how far away does the placement have to be before you get a room. For instance, does a York based student get a room in Hull for the time they are on placement there or do they commute there each day from York?

If your placement is away from your home base, then you will always be provided with accommodation, so I'll be getting accommodation in York next year. The only commute you have to do is to your GP placement which can be up to an hour away, but thats only once a week (I think).
