Questions to HYMS students!!! Life, accomodation, money, everything

    Hi there!
I would like to ask a few questions about uni life!
I mean, which accomodation do you recommend, which bank is the best suited for students, insurance for overseas students, things like that...
    Thx in advance!

    hey aszp,
    Congrats on the offer!
I can only talk in terms of Hull, but I'm sure someone will add the York side of things
As for accomodation in Hull, I'd definitely recommend the student houses....
Taylor court is another option, but it is very expensive, and very noisy!
If you get university accomodation, then insurance is included, although you may have to top it up for a small extra premium if you have lots of valuables or a laptop
As for banks, there will be all the major ones represented at the fresher's fair, and it's up to you to choose one that suits you... ie overdraft requirements, freebie gifts etc etc
If you want any more info, just shout
