Hull and York Places/campus allocation/video links
There are 130 places at HYMS right? Is that 65 places at Hull and 65 places at York or does one have more places than the other? When do you get allocated to a campus, is it once you get an offer it is from either the hull campus or the york campus or what?
I understand that most lectures are video linked so you get the same lectures at each campus... is there one campus that always has the lecturers physically present and the other always gets a video link or is the physical presence of the lecturers split between the two unis?
Cheers guys

There are 65 places at each campus (approximately- obviously it could be a more or less depending on who gets the grades). You get an offer from HYMS overall, and once you've firmly accepted you get allocated to a campus by ballot, although you can ask to be allocated to Hull or York if you're going to live at home.
Half the lectures are at Hull and half the lectures are at York so everyone gets the same amount of lectures "in person".
Hope this helps!Emily
