NHS Bursary Scheme
Hello all,
just wondering whether anyone has recieved an NHS bursary scheme application pack yet or heard from the student loans company? I filled in my application for a loan back in february and as of yet have not heard anything. According to this website http://www.nhspa.gov.uk/sgu/top6.htm#apply they should be sending bursary forms out to everyone with a place."let knowledge grow from more to more and thus be human life enriched"

Sorry, afraid that the NHS bursary scheme is only available to Nurses, Radiographers, etc, so you won't be receiving an application pack!
The only NHS help trainee doctors get is in the fifth year of the course, when we get a bursary comparable to the one nurses get throughout the course.
As for loan, i'm sure you'll hear in time. The loans company and student support direct isn't the most efficient or best of companies, in fact, they're god awful.

You don't really need a campus code. Send the form with the University that you are most likely to go to. As HYMS won't tell you Hull or York for a while, just pick one that you'd like to go to and then write that down. So put "University of York" or something like that, but HYMS UCAS code (I think it's H75 and A100 MB BS Medicine) as the institution and course code.
Then, if you allocated to another campus, simply send in a change of circumstances form in saying that you will be going to "University of Hull" instead. If you're extra worried you can always write something in the notes pages, that's what they're for.
I had to do the exact same, I put down York on my form and then had to send in a change of circumstances form in. But it is important that you get the Hull or York bit right as they need to know who to pay your fees to!!!
Hope this helps!

You sure braz? I think my lea still think that im going to york university, they pay it into your bank account not the universities. I cant say I know much about this issue though, its generally pretty confusing on the whole
