Royal Free and University College Medical School Surgical Society presents a meeting in association with the Royal College of Surgeons:
28th April, 6.30pm. Venue: Royal College of Surgeons, LT2
Professor Sir Ara Darzi, KBE, Chair of Surgery, Imperial College Medical School.
"Robotics and Surgery - the future?"
Prof Darzi should need little introduction, although if you do want to find out more about him, venture to his website to have a look: http://www.darzi.org/. He has published in excess of 100 papers on minimally invasve surgery and robotics, pioneering the field and his talk will give an overview of what his work means for our future as surgeons. There are just short of 100 places available for this meeting and you will need to book in advance (free!). Please email jim.blackburn@doctors.org.uk to reserve your place.
