Hi Laura, may I ask what ur UKCAT score is?? -I'm applying for the undergraduate course as well and I just wanted to see if Kings are using the score to rank the applicants.
Thanks

Laura,
What were your GCSE results? Just trying to make out how the selection process for interview works.

How'd it go?
So i had my interview this morning.. it went ok!! Ok's good!!!... Right????!!! :/
not great but not terrible. I mean i answered some questions really well and some i didnt have an clue about so i admitted the fact and moved on. Lasted 25mins in total.
OMG though - what a morning of travel up to London. I live at home in Kent and commute up to Kings every day (about an hours train each way). So left at 7.36 for a 9.30 interview. Didnt get there 'til 9.40!!!. Trespassers on the line at Lewisham and i couldnt even phone ahead and let the interview office know cos i was stuck in a bastard tunnel for 50mins!!!... Sods law eh?
Hopefully ive done enough - i gave it my best shot, even if i was looking slightly scruffy and stressed out!
How did evryone else get on today? I hope you did well

it went .. well.. OK i guess, not very good, not very bad.. and just a wait to hear from them now.. hopefully it will be the 2-3 weeks on the interview invite, and not too much longer than that! stupid as it may sound.. i already had a check on ucas track, even though i expect nothing to be there ... gah i hate the wait.

how mean were your questions??
i don't think we're allowed the discuss the interview questions after signing that pinkish bit of paper, but er.. they weren't too bad. The interviewers were actually quite friendly, but i think my sweaty hands gave away how nervous i was even though i tried to remain calm.. gah.. whats done is done!
i do wish i had a different ethical scenario question though.. i knew little on my topic!

O yeah icecream you are so right - silly me.
Yeah mine were ok - some tough ones in there but some ones i could handle too. My ethics i thought went pretty well. He probed me quite a bit but just stood firm on the issues i had raised. They seemed nice enough.
Good luck matey
