    King's Graduate-entry 2012

    Hey. Just noticed there wasn't actually a 2012 A102 applicants thread. So, now there is.

    I just received an email from King's saying - why have you not replied to our interview offer sent out a while ago? I never did get an email but what a way to find out I've been called for interview!

    Has anyone else been called up?

    BSMS 5-year - added to reserve list 16th February (application subsequently withdrawn)

    Imperial GEP - rejected after interview
    Kings GEP - interview 17th January (withdrawn)
    BSMS 5-year - added to reserve list 16th February (application subsequently withdrawn)

    got an interview as well, on 17th jan. but I have to reschedule it as i will be having uni exam on that day!


    2011-2012 Applicant:

    QMUL (4 Year) - Interview invite, 22/02/11
    KCL (4 Year) - Interviewed, 16/01/12 - Rejected
    Oxford (4 Year) - rejected without interview, 29/11/11
    Sheffield (5 Year) - Interviewed 27/01/12 - ???

    UKCAT 752.5

    BSc Biomedical Science (Predicted 1st) 2012

    Why tentative, lemontea? Sorry to see your Oxford status, how is that possible with your colossal UKCAT?

    Hey Django, I probably got rejected due to my weak personal statement i guess....and Oxford also tends to look at previous academic achievements for applicants applying using predicted degree classification, so that might have played a part + the fact that the competition is way too strong! oh btw, im an international (non-eu) applicant as well...but i dun think thats the main reason...im just not good enough! haha...

    For King's interview, i have requested for it to be rescheduled to another day as I have an university exam on the 17th of January so wont be able to attend the interview~

    and congrats on getting three interviews!

    Hey Django, the same thing happened to me - I got an email yesterday evening reminding me to reply to an interview invite I'd never got!
    Glad its not just me, I spent ages trawling through my spam folder trying to find out if I've been missing emails from med schools

    Absolutely shocked about someone with 750+ UKCAT being missed out on. I guess it does help to have your degree in hand though. Well, good luck in your other interviews.
