Wait list?

It's been six weeks since my interview at KCL and I've heard nothing. At the interview, they told me I'd hear in 2 to 3 weeks. So, does anyone have any idea what's going on? I thought maybe it means I'm wait-listed but I thought they would tell you if that is the case. And how are people's chances if they are wait-listed?

Any idea why? Were you told 2-3 weeks as well? And how did your interview go? You are evidently well qualified as you already have 2 offers. I thought my interview went decently, but obviously it is quite competitive. I thought maybe it had something to do with me being an international student, but you're not, so I guess that doesn't really explain it.

Well, it turns out it is because I'm international. I just got an email from them saying that I might not hear until April because they have to interview all international students before they make a decision.

AAAARG! Sorry know this digresses from this topic but I wish they'd just interview the rest of the waiting candidates already, or at least let the final ones know if they'll be interviewed or not.

I don't know whether or not to be worried. I don't know if any international students have received offers yet but if they have, it's probably not a good sign for me.

Does this mean you are on the waiting list? ..How do you know if you are placed on the waiting list post interview?

I think you can assume to be on the waiting list unless told otherwise...
