Was thinking may have a chance but seems a few people atleast at TSR are in same situation as us so wondering if there's a big bunch of us out of which only a few lucky people will get interviews in April while a whole large group get rejected... Who knows.

I registered on to The Student Room today, there's definitely a large bunch of people still not in the know.
So am I right in saying, King's will give out offers/rejections to everyone who had an interview and were put on th waiting list, and after that they're going to hand out interviews to those of us who haven't heard yet? Or will they shove us before the waiting list people? Not that it really matters lol, as you can tell this long wait makes you want every scrap of detail you can find!!!

Bananagirl, as it stands...since you are yet to hear, then you can either be offered an interview or rejected by default in May(ish). I don't think you can be waiting listed without having an interview as you would effectively bypass the interview process if you then got offered a place.

If you get called for interview, you can then be either accepted, rejected or placed on the waiting list.

Yeah but do you reckon they have a waiting list for people being offered interviews. Like they might have a group of candidates which they are not sure about offering an interview to, or they could be waiting for people to accept their offers before handing out any more interviews, so they don't go over the amount of places they have. They're getting quite tight on that this year, uni's really want to avoid over suscribing otherwise they have to pay a bomb for the extra students!

Hey bananagirl, gonna post this same thing here too as i did on the "still nothing... anyone else?" -thread.

I just called King's and talked to the lady who I asked when the ones who will not be interviewed will know. Funnily enough she said "well we don't know which dates we'll be interviewing, we generally give a couple of week's notice". I guess she misunderstood my question as I wanted to know whether the last REJECTED bunch would know by mid-April or have to wait all the way till May or smth (Jei, for my pessimistic attitude! ) . Anyway she also said "I don't know about all the interview dates yet so I can't really tell you anything you don't already know". And then I asked whether the ones who haven't heard are still under consideration and she said "yes" (duh, good question nabila).

Hmmm well if they don't know what dates their interviewing then that's probably why they've taken soooo slowwwww. They probably don't hold interviews as frequently as other unis, probs why we they interview all the way through april.
Hahahhaha great question :P I was planning on giving them a ring, and asking them when were they planning on telling us we're rejected!
