Haha, sorry, just realized how cruel that would be! Forgetting to update track

I'm sure that's not the case although the outcome could still be cruel for some of us. And when I've called I have mentioned my name but they always seem to be in such a hurry that I don't def ask for my specific situation, just for the overall stuff. Which is stupid I guess cause we all know what they're going to say anyway. It has been more for my peace of mind since it feels like actively doing something

I feel your pain, and to be honest, your situation seems a lot worse than mine, it must be hard having to do this from Finland!! I really do hope we all hear from Kings sometime soon, whether it be interview or rejection, 5 months of wait is just too long to drag out a rejection... So yeah I keep thinking that if they hate me they would have rejected me by now, so we must catch their eye somehow, or maybe they haven't even read our application yet, who knows! Ahhh let me know if you get any news

Hehe, well actually doing it from Finland is hard, but you at least having 3 more unis in the game while i have one makes my situation really a lot worse

I think it would be so cruel, cruel is the right word, to reject us after 5-6months! FIVE TO SIX MONTHS! It's like telling a child they're gonna get candy for that long and then bam, you give them beetroot (i was gonna say broccoli but i like broccoli half the time, can't stand the red stuff, Finns love it here though).

Can it really be that they haven't even made it as far as us? I don't think so. They have more than one person doing this. And also the fact that they asked me for additional qualifications documents in November kinda would imply that they've gone through my application at least once. Maybe we are simply in the good ones, but not the great ones. If the great ones don't fill up the places, we get a shot at it. Who knows. And the wait continues

One encouraging factor is that for the past few weeks I hear every now and then someone getting an interview offer but no rejections in a while. Could be pure coincidence though, not everyone hangs out here or comments even if they would hang out in secret

Yeah with Kings being your only option left this must be horrible on you

Yes I do have 3 uni's to go, but my interview at Cardiff didn't go too well tbh, and Bristol has only one more interview date left in 9 days time so that's not looknig too promising! I'm just holding on to Kings and the fact they interview through to april. Apparently Kings is one of the most over suscribed uni's for medicine I've heard, not sure if that's true or not!

Hahah I love the analogy with the beetroot, hmm I'm not to fussed on it either, I would have chosen sprouts- I hate the stuff, love brocolli though ahha!

Bananagirl, I've heard the same thing.... not sure what it is exactly which draws people to King's, but people seem to love it. I guess Guy's campus is really nice and the course seems really well run so I guess it's understandable.

Part of me wants to accept their offer just to say I go to King's Medical School, lol! (Bad reason I know!)

I'm sure most people feel they ruined their interviews! It would be nice to even know btw if King's has x number of interview dates still left and when are they.

About oversubscription, that seems to be the trend this year. Just got my rejection letter from Southampton: 246 spots, 5000+ applicants.

Generic, so you haven't decided yet on which you'll accept? Oh, ok, I see you're still waiting to hear from GEPs, you're prob gonna go for one of those if they want you? Good luck! And congrats on what you've already achieved: 4 interviews... wow!

King's medic, what I would give to be able to legitimately call myself that. I've been in love with King's since I first looked at their prospectus almost 4 years ago (didn't apply then right after school, wouldn't have had the grades and didn't seriously consider moving from Finland)

Btw, I don't feel passionately about sprouts either way. I don't think I come across them more than once a year or something!

Hey lexipower and everyone else still waiting.

I just called King's and talked to the lady who I asked when the ones who will not be interviewed will know. Funnily enough she said "well we don't know which dates we'll be interviewing, we generally give a couple of week's notice". I guess she misunderstood my question as I wanted to know whether the last REJECTED bunch would know by mid-April or have to wait all the way till May or smth (Jei, for my pessimistic attitude!

) . Anyway she also said "I don't know about all the interview dates yet so I can't really tell you anything you don't already know". And then I asked whether the ones who haven't heard are still under consideration and she said "yes" (duh, good question nabila).
