    Rejected without Interview

Ok let me start this thread as much as i dread it. I GOT REJECTED without an interview, and i just feel so low now. It was one of my top unis and UCL i know i will get rejected because of my BMAT score of 15. I just feel so low now and just cant understand why they rejected me.

    Anyone else

You are a special person with great talents and achievements!
    SMILE!!!

Try to cheer up. I'm sure you haven't done anything wrong and don't take it personally. I've heard that a lot of unis just randomly reject people like this.

I'm not sure why they do this though but maybe is it because they've got too many applicants? See if you can ring them and ask them why they rejected you?

Just remember that no matter what proffesion you go into in life be it medicine or being a business person, you can become an expert in it as long as you try hard at it and do your best so try not to feel low and like you can't get anywhere in life.

    Smile dark_star!

Very true sos. Don't worry dark_Star about your capabilities. It could have been a random rejection. I have been rejected from Peninsula (not officially, its just that they've done all their interviews) and really can't understand why - especially since I have got an interview at Manchester which is more competitive and there is a higher standard of applicants applying there!

eeeeek! i havent had an interview thier either, havent heard nefing from them. dont worry dark star i remember i felt well down in the dumps after my rejection from bsms, but about 0.0001% of ppl get offers from all their unis. its SUCH a lottery. Since applying to medicine my favourite 2 mottos that hav comforted me the most r: nothing worth having in life comes easily, and, if u want anything that bad, really, really bad u'll b too determined to settle without it (ok that 1 doesnt sound as intellectual, lol)

did u find out on track or did u get a letter?

I got my rejection on track, my letters dont come till ages (im an international student), probably due to my lowish BMAT score (I hope, cause if its something else then ill worry) - just hope the other 3 reply... And yes, sharing is caring!
