Glasgow: Equal weighting for Academic and Non-academic?

Does Glasgow give equal weighting for both Academic and Non-academic such as Edinburgh and some other universities.

Could you please PM me your P.S. if you received an offer from them? Just to get an idea.

I think once you get to the interview stage everybody is on the same playing field. Offers are determined from the interview.

Do you know this for sure? It actually seems a bit unfair to me... surely someone who just scrapes an interview should have to do a lot better than someone who comfortably got an interview to beat them in the running for an offer?

You will only be interviewed if they think you are a potentiol medial student and if they conisder you for interview, then I am sure they take your application into account as well as your interview.

But getting an interview is jumping over another hurdle, you wil be one step closer to getting an offer (or rejection)

I think so... I had a mock interview with 2 of last year's interviewees and that's what they said. I know, I wished that they had some sort of points system like Dundee & Edinburgh. 10 minutes is really short to stand out from hundreds of others too!

Offers are made from interview scores - everything else determines whether you get an interview or not.
