Look up recent issues in medicine as thats what my mate was asked, apparently they're really trying to get to know you aswell, so just smile and be friendly!

Alsooo be familiar with your personal statement as with all interviews, as they'll probably ask you stuff from it.

Rida there's one piece of advice I can offer you, try to research a current ethical issue in medicine/healthcare, but one which hasn't been extensively covered by the media. I found it did the trick in Lancaster

The interviewers are there all day, you'd expect them to hear about very similar topics/the same thing over and over. Talking about something different would make the interview more interesting and so help you stand out from the hundreds of other candidates interviewed

    Hope that helps

hmmm... from looking at the stalking thread over on TSR, it seems that everyone has been given a date for interview, interviewed or rejected. I know thats just a small cross-section, but if they have just about finished with interviews do you think we might hear back earlier than the end of march?! I hope so....

I wouldn't expect to hear anything (positive anyway) before the middle of the second week in March.

Sorry, waiting is a vital skill though!

Had my interview yesterday - think it went okay!

Always hard to tell for sure, but I think they liked the fact I'm a musician

    Yes, absolutely!

I loved the city and the school. There's such a great music/arts scene in Glasgow that I know I could easily make it my home for the next number of years.

    Are you a graduate student?
