sorry to be noisey (curiousity killed the cat, etc) but why do you not know whether you're international?
surely if you have UK passport - national
if not - international
I have a feeling I'm a bit ignorant!

I can help with that;p everything depends on your citizenship
If yore British or EU citizen your qualified as home student if you have citizenship outside EU they classify you as international.
Be careful if youre international- fees are sooo high that sometimes the hardest bit is not getting into Uni but affording it;/

I know (well kind of) that I am international. Its not very complicated tbh. According to the guidelines set by unis and SAAS I am an international and yes I get NOTHING financially
But I am being told by a few organisations that I should be a home student which contradicts the research I have done so far. That is why I am kind of confused because it works differently with people who have applications pending with the home office unfortunately.

I would rather get into uni and know that I got in but didnt have the money than to get rejected
My situation is aweful half the time I cry at the thought of money more than an offer :'(

Actually if you have permanent settled status in the UK, i.e. if you have lived in the UK for 3 years or more without pursuing full-time education, you are considered a Home Student. All you need is ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) to qualify for student loans, fees and home status.
This is how the home fees apply to me anyway and I'm not a UK citizen nor an EU citizen.

Glasgow allocate places for international and home students separately, so don't worry.

Well I was due to be interviewed at Glasgow on Tuesday 19th January, but I've declined the interview because an unconditional offer has come through from Lancaster

Best of luck to all of you
