Medicine Applicants for 2010
Hey
I am hoping to start on the Medicine course in 2010 at Glasgow. I have set up a Bebo page for people like me who want to start in 2010. It's pretty empty now but hopefully we can make it better as time goes on!

Auch, I'm not on bebo... I will be applying for 2010 entry into Glasgow though! It's hit home that I've only got 9 or so months to build up a strong application so I have to get a move on.

I'm aiming for Glasgow 2010. Currently working as a neurology nurse and hoping that Glasgow will like me better than they did for 08 entry!!

Hey was speaking to a Dr who does interviews at Glasgow and he was telling me how they are changing the system from next year. They wont be interviewing as many applicants, they will make offers from UCAS score plus UKCAT which will have a higher weighting than previously. So its all about making sure your ucas is the best it can be!
Good luck everyone!

Hello!
Just a wee bump of the thread and to see how everyone is getting on gathering stuff for applications.
Im currently doing GP work experience, and have UKCAT booked for 23 July. Not going to start constructing PS until after UKCAT cause if I dont meed the minimum at least, then no point wasting time applying!!
Anyone going to open day on the 18th June?

Hey hey,
I am in same boat (kinda!) working in a laser eye surgery at the mo, but I'm def gonna wait until after UKCAT before starting anything else! Especially personal statement...my UKCAT is on 9th of July and I am still stressing hugely over abstract reasoning. Some of it is so hard! I have a book with 600 practice questions in it, and I really hope that the abstract ones are harder than the ones in the exam! How's your revision going?Bexy86
