UKCAT score?

Is there a UKCAT cut off score for Glasgow?

Or how seriously does Glasgow take the UKCAT?

they do request it but i dont think they use it like some unis.Last year kings and queen marys both rejected me because of my ukcat score (even though they had said at the beginnin of the yr they werent going to use it as it was its 1st yr of introduction.but glasgow called me for interview and offered me a place.i asked the admin staff when i was there if it was important, they said they normally call people for interview without lookin at ukcat then if theres two candidates who they need to decide between they will look at it then.hope that helps!good luck if ur applying.

You were rejected at Kings and Barts? Hm.. can I ask you what UKCAT score you got?

I only got 595, so I´m basically just looking for any university that doesn´t care too much about UKCAT/low UKCAT scores. Sadly, they´re hard to come around....=/

i dont think there's a set cut off!

i remember talking about it last year in some of the threads on here and people with both low and high scores were getting offers.

i think its just another of the unpredictable medical admissions things!!

The word on the street is they use it along with personal statement, reference and interview to come up with an overall score. A lot is placed on the interview for Glasgow.

What UKCAT score did you get if you don't mind me asking? If thats the case (that they reject on the basis of low UKCAT scores, I'm gonna have to change one of my choices after I've got my UKCAT results. Got 595 last year but apparently its become harder! Gosh can't wait till UCAS is sent off...
