Transferring to Glasgow

Hi,

I'm currently at St Andrews uni doing the new medical course but I'm originally from Glasgow and would like to transfer back to Glasgow at the end of my 3rd year. Just wondering if anyone had any advice or had previously transferred from other med schools?
Also I know it's quite a small chance of getting in, but does anyone know how likely it is, ie if many people had transferred to their year in the past and if so, how many?

dont quote me on it but i think you have a better chance now of getting in to glasgow as a transfer as the exec have set aside alot of money to keep st andrews students in scotland (and therefore doing their FY years in scotland) instead of training up doctors who are just gonna work in manchester
