Definite Interview Questions?
Will they be definitely asking the questions 'Why Glasgow?' and 'Why Medicine?' I've prepared and thought about these questions for a LONG time now, it would really put me off in the interview if they didn't ask these questions..
Has anyone had a Glasgow interview who did not get either of these questions?

i guess people answer that in their personal statements, but not answering 'why that uni' as they apply to all 4 unis

There's no such thing as 'definte' interview questions - you get what you're given. Just prepare well and in a broad range of topics (know 'a little about a lot') and you'll do fine.

one of the things i would add is that if (in the unlikely event) you get a queation you are a bit middled up on, its ok to say errmmm before answering a question (so that you can make a decent answer), its ok to ask for a question to be rephrased, and if you dont know the answer, then its ok to say you dont know, but be proactive and ask bout it afterwards.

Your asking on a forum of mainly med students and prospective medics....how would they know for DEFINATE what interview questions will be unless they are on the panel (which I don't think includes students)?
Why medicine and why Glasgow are the easy peasy questions that they give you (yes, they gave me them) to supposedly put you at ease for the challenging questions that come later. Don't worry too much about them,
Prepare and think about the ethics questions, the current medical issues and how they will affect your practice etc.I've prepared and thought about these questions for a LONG time now

Quick question, the 'Why Glasgow', can you just talk about the course, pbl etc or do they expect you to talk about glasgow itself, i.e. why this area of scotland?
