Consider the incidence of Heart Disease on the West Coast, as well as the health inequalities between Glasgow and other areas. Glasgow has a new heart disease research unit (google it and you'll get the name) just near to the med school I think. It's at the cutting edge of cardiovascular research, the western world's biggest killer. Waffle a bit of that, and they'll love it ...
Just in case, think about what your answer might be if they ask why Glasgow has high rates of heart disease ...Graduate Medic - Edinburgh Med School
