). If you're not entered for Higher, I doubt it will ruin your chances of getting on the Chemistry course. Some 6th form colleges now offer Access to A-level maths courses which can be taken in conjunction with A.S. level sciences. The course is usually for people who got about a C grade. You take an exam at the end of the year which then bumps up your GCSE grade. If the worst happens, and you have to sit the dreaded Foundation paper, this gives you an extra chance, whilst helping you brush up on any maths you'll need for lovely Chemistry.
