Gamsat sept 2012
Hello all,
I've just joined and thought I would post to introduce myself. I'm 29 and a graduate in psychology. I currently live in glasgow.
I've just registered to sit the gamsat in sept through Bristol.
I've started a new thread with this title as I couldn't see one on the forum. Maybe others could start chatting through this rather than to have
multiple threads.
I look forward to talking to anyone who is planning to sit the (evil) gamsat.

Hi,
I've just registered to take it for the first time as well. I'm a 25 year old working in the NHS as an Assistant Psychologist. This is going to be the first time I'll be taking the GAMSAT, so pretty nervous about it!
It seems they have a new publication out - Practice Test 2...

hi,
Good to hear from you. yeh im nervous too but all you can do is try. Can't be failed for that.
I have a background in science subjects as I didn't need them for entry to my degree. My main concerns are with section 3 just now and that is what is hitting home the most. I'll have a look at their new practice tests, thanks.

Hi guys,
I'm glad someone started this thread, forums seem a bit quiet compared to previous years- maybe there will be less applicants this year!
I'm a 24 year old graduate currently working for a pharmaceutical company.
How are you guys planning on preparing for the GAMSAT? I was tempted to buy the book but thought it was probably a little gimmiky, so will probably stick to the ACER papers myself.
Good luck with the whole process by the way!

Just heard on the grape vine that St Georges have upped their minimums to 55 in all sections. As if we didn't need any more pressure!!

Just checked on SGUL website and it confirms that you have to get 55 in all sections of the GAMSAT now as well as the cut off score.
