GAMSAT September 2012

Hope your all well.

I'm doing the GAMSAT this September and started preparing for it. I was just wondering if anyone else may be planing to sit the GAMSAT in Sep this year?

How is everyone preparing? Have you started revision for it?

I'd recommend the Khan Academy channel on youtube, brilliant resource for science especially Physics!

I will be sitting the GAMSAT this year too.
To be honest i have not started, still trying to get all the materials together.
I do have a question though, The Gold Standard GAMSAT is it any good???? It is quite pricey but that would not matter if it is any good. I have been surfing the net, just trying to see if i can see any reviews. It is all very mixed

Also anything else anyone can recommend, i would be grateful.

Im planning on sitting it too... Ive heard Acer Alevel science booklets are sufficent.. would like some confirmation though - anyone?

Hi All,

This is my first time replying to a thread, however I have been stalking it regularly over the last few months. I am planning on sitting the Gamsat this September, however my main issue is exactly what to look at. I have researched quite a lot into the Gradmed course and other similar courses but its so pricey. I have got the A'Level letts revision guides for Bio, Chem and phy but just not sure exactly what material I need to cover, as a lot of people have said that its not all relevant. So don't want to waste my time casting things to memory that I don't need to at this stage. Alternatively i have been told to get the dummys guids, but once again the problem is not knowing what stuff to really focus on.

I feel like I am stumbling around in the dark at the moment, with a big dream but no light at the end of the tunnel? please tell me that I am not alone in this.....

Sitting Sept if I don't get what I need in March. Been studying since last Sept and still feeling utterly under prepared....eeek....
