I agree with Dan, I spent 3 months going over every element of Chemistry suggested in the Gamsat review and it didn't really help me all that much. Going over the practice questions again and again and learning the science as I went a long was much more helpful. That's what I'm going to do this time, with the exception of brushing up on a few topics that I knew I struggled with in the exam as I'd not managed to get round to covering them, and brushing up on my maths skills too!! The no calculator thing I found much more difficult than I expected. Surprising how much you forget in the years after school!!

I'm a bit worried about the math content (I suck at it). Is there much needed?

Certainly now with the lack of calculators, yes, but nothing overly complicated. It's basic stuff but if you've not done much since GCSE like me you've probably forgotten how to do even the simplest things...!

I am correct in thinking that the March exam will still only allow us to start a course Sept 14?

I think the maths is really more basic manipulation such as understanding log scales and basic skills in rearranging equations etc

That would be correct, at least for the UK universities, the Irish universities I believe take people in later in the same year while the Australian Universities take them in around January of the following year.
