Gamsat 2012

hey mikuro i think about it every day, it would be an absolutely stunning day if we pass. Im literally counting the days. I think at worst im hoping for high 50`s to give me the confidence to push on if i have to go again. Hows the work experience going and may I ask what degree did you do

Hi everyone! I sat the gamsat on march 24th, what a horror that was. It was my second attempt at the exam, and I'm 99% sure I'll be doing it again in September (hoping for 3rd time lucky!) I found all 3 sections a bit of a nightmare, and as I found them all much harder than last septembers exam I can't see me even reaching the mark I got the first time round which wasn't even great!
How does everyone know results day is the 18th?
Think my revision is gonna be more based around practise questions this time, as learning the theory didn't help at all for march lol

I saw it was on the 18th from some web site somewhere. march 24th was a horrid day, im still hopeful as you never know. your right the theory didnt help I felt like a scientific genius going into sec 3 as i learnt all the theory but it seemed useless at times your right practice practice is all you can do. what did you do your degree in by the way

I guessed so much too. By the last 10 minutes I still had about 15-20 questions left unanswered, had totally run out of brain steam and so just guessed...but I had guessed a lot of others along the way too. Ug. Horrible.
Hopefully my section 1 and 2 won't be as bad, felt quietly confident about them but that means nothing really, every chance I scored crap there too...!

4 days to go!! *bites nails*

Hi, is the MCAT verbal reasoning book a good tool to help get ready for section 1?
I fear section 1 the most.

They are, the agony! So it may not be today after all. But hopefully not much longer to wait. Arg.

Robin I used that MCAT book, it's not exactly like GAMSAT as it's not just passages but it will help you get into that mindset if you fear that section the most. You can use that but test papers are the best practice.
